Two storage methods:

It’s easy to microwave dry or freeze herbs. Yes, you can microwave them dry! However, proceed with caution, as a few seconds too long and your herbs could go up in smoke!

To microwave dry:

  • Spread over a single layer between two paper towels
  • Microwave on high for around 90 seconds
  • Turn over and continue for 30-second intervals until the herbs are dry and brittle
  • Store in sealed jars

To freeze:

  • Wash the herbs and pat dry with paper towel
  • Chop finely
  • Place the different herbs in freezer bags, taking care to identify and date them
  • Freeze
